Transtorno do desenvolvimento da coordenação e nível de atividade física em crianças: revisão sistemática da literatura/Developmental coordination disorder and level of physical activity in children: systematic literature review

Introdução: Crianças com Transtorno do Desenvolvimento da Coordenação (TDC) podem apresentar dificuldade na realização de atividades de lazer, em esportes, além de problemas nas interações sociais. Objetivo: Investigar a relação entre TDC e atividade física, bem como avaliar a qualidade das pesquisas na área. Método: Foi realizada busca nas bases de dados Pubmed, Bireme, Web of Science e Scopus, com os descritores, nas línguas portuguesa e inglesa, “atividade motora” (“motor activity”), “transtorno das habilidades motoras” (“motor skills disorders”), “transtorno do desenvolvimento da coordenação” (“Developmental coordination disorder”), “atividade física” (“physical activity”) e “crianças” (“children”). O processo de análise dos estudos envolveu a leitura de títulos, resumos e textos completos. Resultados: A busca eletrônica inicial resultou em 3.303 manuscritos, sendo que 22 preencheram os critérios de inclusão na revisão. A qualidade dos artigos foi avaliada usando-se o Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (STROBE). Em relação ao nível de atividade física em crianças com TDC, somente 11 estudos trataram desta temática, enquanto os demais a utilizaram como variável mediadora. Conclusão: Crianças com TDC apresentaram menor nível de atividade física em relação aos seus pares, sendo o transtorno na infância um fator de risco para a inatividade física na adolescência.
