A FARDA QUE É UM FARDO: O ESTRESSE PROFISSIONAL NA VISÃO DE MILITARES DO CORPO DE BOMBEIROS
Abstract
Este artigo trata dos fatores estressores e seus reflexos na saúde de militares
do corpo de bombeiros, segundo a perspectiva desses profissionais. Foi realizada
pesquisa qualitativa através de entrevista semi-estruturada com 16 bombeiros
operacionais da Corporação de Bombeiros Militares do Estado do Espírito Santo,
localizado na cidade de Vitória. As informações foram organizadas em categorias
tais como: rotina da corporação, pontos positivos e negativos da atividade
desenvolvida, ambiente de trabalho, estresse no trabalho, atividades realizadas
fora do ambiente de trabalho e alternativas propostas pelos bombeiros para
amenizar o estresse. A pesquisa evidenciou que a organização ditada pelo
militarismo é o principal dos fatores desencadeadores de estresse entre esses
profissionais.
