Sentimento de desterritorialização e o desafio da autoestima na experiência da moradia estudantil/Thoughts on the feeling of deterritorialization and the self-esteem challenge in the student housing

A moradia estudantil tem sido pouco abordada em estudos acadêmicos, embora seja experiência fundamental e incontornável para muitos/as estudantes brasileiros/as. Este texto objetiva abrir um diálogo sobre esta dimensão da vida universitária, focando o Conjunto Residencial da Universidade de São Paulo (CRUSP). Os/as moradores/as deste lugar enfrentam desafios cotidianos, como a distância da terra natal, o sentimento de precariedade e de pobreza, a solidão e as dificuldades diante da própria organização institucional. Neste cenário, a questão da autoestima revela-se tema recorrente no entendimento da experiência da moradia universitária. Para a construção dos dados deste trabalho, recorremos à etnografia e à pesquisa documental. Apoiamo-nos na análise antropológica e em reflexões da terapia ocupacional social para descrever, de forma densa e detalhada, o cotidiano vivido no lugar, além de desenvolver compreensões das expressões de sofrimento que emergem do contexto. Como resultados, relatos e situações foram discutidos a partir de diferentes categorias de análise: controle e medicalização; desqualificação e criminalização; construção de redes de suporte e expressões de criatividade, e produção de vida. Como conclusão, ressalta-se a importância de estudos e trabalhos específicos, a fim de aumentar o interesse pelo lugar e pelas condições de estadia, viabilizando uma política integral de apoio à formação estudantil. Acredita-se que as abordagens da terapia ocupacional possam contribuir neste sentido.
