A atuação da terapia ocupacional na atenção básica à saúde: uma revisão de literatura/The performance of occupational therapy in primary health care: a literature review

Introdução: A atenção básica à saúde compreende um conjunto de ações individuais e coletivas para proteção e promoção da saúde dos usuários. A terapia ocupacional, nesse contexto, atua no favorecimento da participação social de indivíduos e famílias na comunidade, com foco em seus projetos de vida e nas ocupações que lhes sejam significativas. Objetivo: Este trabalho consiste em uma revisão integrativa sobre a atuação dos terapeutas ocupacionais na atenção básica à saúde, objetivando identificar e sintetizar o conhecimento disponível na literatura sobre o tema. Método: Foram pesquisadas publicações, no período de 2004 a 2015, nos Cadernos de Terapia Ocupacional da Universidade Federal de São Carlos e na Revista de Terapia Ocupacional da Universidade de São Paulo. Identificaram-se 25 publicações sobre o tema no primeiro e 26 no segundo periódico, tendo sido selecionados 15 artigos que tratavam especificamente da referida atuação. Resultados: Verificou-se que os grupos e oficinas terapêuticas, as visitas domiciliares e o apoio matricial têm se apresentado como as formas mais recorrentes de atuação desses profissionais no campo. Com relação aos Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF), identificaram-se dificuldades em embasar suas ações em decorrência do seu próprio desconhecimento acerca da Estratégia Saúde da Família e da carência de recursos disponibilizados para a atuação profissional. Conclusão: É necessário o incremento das publicações sobre o tema com o intuito de sistematizar, compartilhar e divulgar ações e tecnologias desenvolvidas pelos terapeutas ocupacionais nesse campo, principalmente no que se refere à sua atuação a partir dos NASF.
