Abstract
Os fatores preditores de independência funcional na reabilitação têm sido pesquisados em diversos campos do conhecimento, tais como a medicina, fisioterapia e terapia ocupacional. A presente revisão discute algumas pesquisas publicadas no período de 2005 a 2007, sobre os fatores preditores de funcionalidade para as Atividades da Vida Diária (AVDs) em pacientes pós-Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE). Os resultados indicaram preditores importantes como: gênero, raça e etnia, gravidade do AVE, espasticidade, tipos de tratamento e tratamento precoce, componentes motores (força, resistência muscular) e também a cognição.Downloads
