FACILITAÇÕES E BARREIRAS EM PESQUISAS DE CAMPO NO EMPREGO DE MÉTODOS QUALITATIVOS E EM PARTICULAR EM INSTITUIÇÃO INFORMAL DE SAÚDE / FACILITIES AND BARRIERS IN FIELD RESEARCH WITH USE OF QUALITATIVE METHODS AND PARTICULARLY IN HEALTH INFORMAL INSTITUTION
Abstract
O objetivo deste artigo é construir uma introdução teórica sobre o processo de entrada em campo para coleta de dados, em pesquisas de orientação humanística na área da saúde. Diferentes tipos de campo a serem explorados são aqui destacados. Igualmente, apresenta breve relato da experiência da primeira autora quanto às vicissitudes do ingresso no campo de investigação. Trata-se de projeto na particular pesquisa clínico-qualitativa, desenvolvido em instituição de cuidadores informais à saúde. Consideram-se os itens de apreciação prévia e indispensável para o bom desenvolvimento da pesquisa: a escolha do campo; os primeiros contatos com os responsáveis; a imersão em seu enquadre físico-ambiental e psicocultural; a sequente seleção dos sujeitos convidados a colaborar; e a aplicação do roteiro de entrevista e de observação. Tais elementos são também relevantes para a aceitável validade dos dados coletados. Vieses nessas etapas – quando não removidos ou manejados – comprometem negativamente o rigor dos resultados. Os autores fecham o texto, pontuando que os pesquisadores devem estar atentos a cada fase do empreendimento para assim desempenhar um bom trabalho. Devem ser diligentes nos eventuais obstáculos metodológicos que surgem no decorrer do processo: (a) possível recusa de autorização por parte dos responsáveis pelo local eleito para realização da pesquisa; (b) não consentimento eventual por parte de sujeitos convidados para a pesquisa; (c) encontro de número insuficiente de sujeitos para fechamento da amostra em certo campo. Deparando-se com essas possibilidades, os pesquisadores não devem esmorecer, nem logo cogitar em alterar o projeto.Palavras-chave: Pesquisa Qualitativa; Coleta de Dados; Entrevista; Variações Dependentes
