Abstract
As situações de vulnerabilidade social, a que muitas crianças e adolescentes estão sujeitas, trazem a necessidade de se considerar o impacto das condições de vida no processo educativo. A escola é uma fonte de suporte social, havendo a necessidade de ações de formação continuada para os professores voltadas para a compreensão e enfrentamento desta realidade. Neste trabalho, objetivou-se descrever e analisar a experiência de um programa de formação de educadores do ensino fundamental sobre as possibilidades de utilização de jogos pedagógicos com crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Neste estudo de caso, com abordagem qualitativa e participação de 14 professores do ensino fundamental, os dados coletados através de um questionário e grupo focal foram analisados através de análise de conteúdo temática. Os resultados, expressos nas categorias temáticas "Conceito de Vulnerabilidade Social, Causas e Consequências da Vulnerabilidade Social, Educação e Vulnerabilidade Social e Avaliação da Intervenção da Terapia Ocupacional" apontaram para as potencialidades do estabelecimento de parcerias entre profissionais da educação e da terapia ocupacional no enfrentamento das situações de vulnerabilidade social.
