Este trabalho tem como eixo temático a intervenção grupal como recurso da terapia ocupacional. O
estudo apresentado é sobre uma experiência realizada entre duas universidades, nas áreas de Terapia Ocupacional,
Farmácia e Medicina, especificamente na área da ginecologia, no atendimento da mulher climatérica. A primeira
intervenção iniciou no ano de 2004, até 2005, com os estagiários do curso de Terapia Ocupacional e os residentes
do curso de Medicina. Porém, foi reiniciado o trabalho, no ano de 2010, mas com a ampliação dos recursos
humanos e das áreas de conhecimento, tendo a participação da área farmacêutica. A metodologia esteve baseada na
transcrição das observações realizadas após cada encontro do grupo, que foi coordenado pela Terapia Ocupacional.
Como resultado, apontamos que o processo grupal tem favorecido a cada participante a compreensão dessa etapa
de vida, bem como vem interferindo na mudança de hábitos e atitudes, com uma grande melhora na organização
do seu cotidiano. Concluímos a importância da utilização desse recurso na Terapia Ocupacional e a interlocução
com as demais áreas da saúde, uma vez que tem possibilitado a construção do projeto terapêutico único para o
grupo, considerando o aporte de cada clínica.
