Focus and Scope
Cadernos Brasileiros de Terapia Ocupacional /Brazilian Journal of Occupational Therapy (ISSN online 2526-8910) is an open-access, online scientific publication edited by the Federal University of São Carlos, Department of Occupational Therapy. It accepts submissions in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, which undergo a double-blind peer review process, except for articles available in preprint servers or those where authors choose open review (Open Science Compliance Form), in which case the review is conducted with ‘simple blinded’ evaluation. Accepted papers are published continuously, made available under a Creative Commons CC-BY license, and organized into a regular annual issue.
It focus on the dissemination of original works resulting from scientific research in the field of Occupational Therapy, in dialogue with the field of Health, Education, Culture, and Social Assistance, as well as Occupational Science. It emphasizes studies on physical, sensory, mental, psychological, and/or social issues related to everyday life (cotidiano) and human activity connected to the participation, autonomy, and inclusion of subjects (both individual and collective) in social life.
