Contribuições à clínica da Terapia Ocupacional na área da intervenção precoce em equipe interdisciplinar/Contributions to clinical Occupational Therapy in the area of early intervention in interdisciplinary team

Introdução: O atendimento a bebês considera que quanto mais cedo se intervém no risco/sintomas, maior a probabilidade de melhores resultados. Objetivos: Narrar o processo de intervenção precoce oferecido por um programa de extensão dos cursos de Terapia Ocupacional e Fonoaudiologia. Discutir os caminhos teórico-práticos para a clínica com bebês e para a terapia ocupacional. Método: Estudo de caso, com amostra de conveniência. Conta com avaliação interpretada, por meio de observação em sessão, considerando aportes teóricos psicomotores, terapêuticos ocupacionais e fonoaudiológicos. A intervenção se deu por um terapeuta ocupacional, em equipe interdisciplinar, nos meses de agosto/2011 a janeiro/2012; e março a julho/2012, uma vez por semana. A análise dos dados deu-se comparando a avaliação de ingresso e avaliação ao final do tempo de pesquisa. Resultados: O menino não havia elaborado conceitos de esquema e imagem corporal que o sustentassem na relação com objetos, com espaço e com o outro. Apresentava pouca evolução linguística. Considerando os aportes da terapia ocupacional na clínica psicomotora em intervenção precoce, o menino reconstruiu seu lugar familiar. O funcionamento de linguagem sintonizado às demandas do menino permitiu seu acesso ao simbolismo e apropriação linguística. Conclusão: A proposta de intervenção precoce com terapeuta ocupacional como terapeuta único, com suporte de equipe interdisciplinar, foi eficaz para ultrapassar os obstáculos estruturais e instrumentais ao desenvolvimento do menino.
